Manage your account
Delete everything.
In the app: Settings → “Delete account & all data”, which is also offered on the membership screen whenever your membership isn't active. It wipes what the app has stored on your device — profile, logs, avatar, photos, models, run routes, scores — deletes your account profile from our database, asks Meshy to delete any avatar build tasks, deletes your sign-in account, and clears the analytics and installation identifiers. It is permanent, so export anything you want to keep first. If your sign-in session is too old, the app signs you out; sign in again and repeat the deletion. If you want deletion confirmed, or you can't get into the app at all, email us.
Your account.
Setting up the app creates an account — email and password — because your membership and your progress are recognised through it on any phone you sign into. It keeps a small profile: membership status and renewal date, level, XP, streak, streak freezes, rank badge, gems, your name, and your coach's standing brief. It never holds your workout or meal plans, daily logs, measurements, photos, run routes, or anything read from Apple Health. Signing out stops the sync and the app keeps working on this device with what is already here.
Your photos.
The posed photos travel through our backend to the avatar-engine providers — Google for image editing, Meshy for the 3D model — and are used only to build your avatar. The app does not keep the originals after the build; what stays on your device are the finished models and the edited studio images, so a failed build never means retaking them. Meshy holds a build until it is deleted, and we ask Meshy to delete your build tasks when you cancel a build or delete your account. They are never used to train AI. Your photos are private and never posted publicly. Meal photos stay on your device and go when the entry or your account does.
Turn off usage analytics.
Settings → Privacy → “Share usage analytics”. Switching it off stops collection immediately and clears the anonymous identifier behind it; no feature is withheld either way. It never contains a health value in the first place — no weight, calories, macros, measurements or Apple Health data — and the switch is there anyway.
Revoke Apple Health access.
On your iPhone: Settings → Health → ftns.ai, or Health app → Sharing → Apps → ftns.ai. Access is read-only — the app writes nothing back to Health — and it reads steps, sleep, workouts, weight, body measurements, water, caffeine, alcohol, and heart rate during a run you are tracking. Revoke it and everything falls back to manual entry.
Turn off run tracking.
Location is used for one thing: drawing your route and measuring distance and pace while a run is in progress, including with the phone locked. Routes are saved on this device only — never uploaded, never in your account profile, never sent to analytics — and deleting a run deletes its route. Revoke it in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Location Services.
Revoke an AI feature.
The features that send anything off-device — your coach, voice food logging, label scanning, previews — each ask for consent before their first use, and each consent can be withdrawn in the app. Revoking takes effect immediately and stops that feature's off-device processing. The full detail of what each one sends is in the Privacy Policy.
Turn off reminders.
The daily nudge, the Sunday wrap-up note, the Monday kickoff and the first-of-the-month check-in are optional, generated on your device, and scheduled locally — nothing about them touches a server. Turn them off in the app or in iOS Settings and they stop completely.
Manage your membership.
The membership is billed by Apple, so it is managed there: Settings → Apple Account → Subscriptions → ftns.ai. Cancel in the first seven days and the trial ends without a charge; after that it renews until you cancel it. Deleting the app does not cancel the subscription, and we never see your payment details.
FAQ
What is ftns.ai?
It's like the Tamagotchi game from when we were kids — but the character is you. You get a living 3D twin that eats what you eat, trains when you train and sleeps when you sleep, plus a Life Score, daily missions, Apple Health sync, and a Future Self you can look at twenty years out. Seven days free to try, and nothing you do is visible to anybody else.
What does it cost?
It's a membership, with the first seven days free — cancel before the trial ends and you are not charged. After that it is $14.99 a month, or $167.99 a year — $11.89 less than paying month to month. Apple does the billing. One membership covers everything: your twin, the full tracking suite, the Life Score, missions, your coach, Apple Health sync and Future Self. Gems are the only separate purchase, they buy outfits and accessories, and nothing you buy affects your score or your progress.
What happens to the photos?
The app asks for three posed shots at sign-up to build your real avatar. They go through our backend to the avatar-engine providers, Google for the image editing and Meshy for the 3D model, and are used for nothing else. The app keeps the finished models on your device rather than your originals, and we ask Meshy to delete a build when you cancel it or delete your account. When the avatar engine is not available in a build, your avatar comes from your body metrics instead. They are never used to train AI. Your photos are private and never posted publicly.
Where does my data live?
On your phone. Your logs, meals, workouts, measurements, run routes, plans and your twin are saved in protected files on the device, and nothing read from Apple Health ever leaves it. What does sync is a small account profile — membership, level, streak, gems, your name and your coach's brief — so a second phone recognises your progress. Usage analytics can be switched off in Settings and never include a health value. One tap in Settings deletes all of it, on the device and in the account.
Do I need an Apple Watch?
No. A watch or any other tracker makes logging easier, but nothing needs one. If you connect Apple Health the app reads steps, sleep, workouts, weight, body measurements, water, caffeine and alcohol — read-only, and anything you enter yourself takes priority — and everything falls back to entering it yourself.
Can other people see my twin or my numbers?
No. No social feed, no friends list, no leaderboards — nobody can see your twin, your numbers or your score. You can export a share card or a Future Self image yourself, whenever you want. The app never posts for you.
How do I cancel?
In your device Settings → Apple Account → Subscriptions → ftns.ai. Apple handles the billing, so that is where it lives — deleting the app does not cancel it. Cancel any time in the first seven days and the trial ends without a charge. After that the subscription renews until you cancel it.
What happens if I miss a day?
Nothing breaks. XP never goes down — you just don't gain any on a day you don't act. Your twin's mood softens and your progress slows, and that is the whole penalty. Streak freezes cover the days life gets in the way, and because you set your own goal frequency, a four-workout week is a perfect week if four is what you signed up for.
Is this medical advice?
No. ftns.ai is a game about building habits. It does not provide medical, nutrition, or mental-health advice, it is not a medical device, and nothing in it — not the Life Score, not your weekly twin updates, not Future Self, not your coach's plans — replaces a qualified professional. For personal health decisions, talk to one.
What age is it for?
16 and up. There is an age gate at signup.
How does Future Self work?
It projects your twin across six horizons — 3 months, 6 months, 1 year, 5 years, 10 years and 20 years — on three timelines: Current Pace, On Plan and Coasting. They run off your real habit data, not entertainment randomness. It is unlimited; generations never cost gems or credits. And it is motivation, not prophecy: a game projection of a game character, not a forecast about your actual body.
Is there a coach in the app?
Yes. Your coach builds workout plans from your goal, pace, equipment and the exercises you've excluded, and meal plans across six styles — high-protein, vegetarian, vegan, keto, budget and Mediterranean — with per-meal macros. You can talk to it in plain words: swap an exercise, ask how today is tracking. You pick its tone, motivational or matter-of-fact, and plans wait in an inbox until you add them. It's a game feature, not a health professional, and it never promises a result.
What does my twin look like?
Full-body, in colour, and rotatable a full 360° with a drag. It breathes, it idles, and the lighting moves with its mood. It changes on two speeds: a fast mood axis over the last few days, and a slower build that recomputes weekly from what you tracked. It is a game character — expressive, never photoreal, and never unflattering.
How do you say the name?
"fitness dot AI." It's ftns.ai — lowercase, always.
Are you the same as "ftns." or "ftnss"?
No. Different apps, different companies, no connection. We're ftns.ai — the habit game with the living 3D twin, the Life Score, and Future Self. If you were looking for a workout log or a coaching app, those are other products.
Are you affiliated with Tamagotchi / Bandai?
No. ftns.ai is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Bandai or Tamagotchi. We reference the childhood vibe because it explains the game fast — that's it. Different game, different company.
