Terms of Use — ftns.ai

1. Agreement. These terms are between you and Caleb Weinberger, who makes and operates ftns.ai, and govern your use of the ftns.ai app and website. By using ftns.ai you accept them. If your app was downloaded from Apple's App Store, Apple's standard licensed-application terms also apply to the extent [TODO — counsel: decide standard Apple EULA vs. custom EULA and reconcile].

2. The service. ftns.ai is a game about building habits. It is provided for entertainment and personal-motivation purposes only. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and it does not provide nutrition or mental-health advice. Nothing in the app — including the Life Score, weekly twin updates, Future Self projections, or coach-generated plans and suggestions — is a substitute for a qualified professional. Consult one before making changes to exercise, diet, or sleep, especially if you have a health condition. Future Self is a stylized game projection of a game character, not a prediction about your body.

3. Eligibility. You must be 16 or older.

4. Your content. You own what you log and any photos you add. Your logs, plans, measurements, run routes and anything read from Apple Health stay on your device; a small account profile syncs so a second phone recognises your progress. Photos are used only to build your avatar, and the Privacy Policy sets out exactly how they are handled and how to have them deleted. You grant us the limited license needed to operate the service for you. We don't use your photos or health data for advertising, and we don't sell them.

5. ftns.ai membership — auto-renewing subscription.

• Name: ftns.ai membership. Free trial: 7 days. Length: 1 month or 1 year, auto-renewing. Price: $14.99 USD per month, or $167.99 USD per year — about $14.00 per month, and $11.89 less than twelve monthly payments (or the local equivalent shown in the App Store at purchase).
• The membership covers the whole app — your twin, tracking, the Life Score, missions, the coach, Apple Health sync, weekly updates, Future Self, and share cards. [TODO — counsel: confirm what, if anything, remains usable when a membership is not active, and state it here.]
• The free trial runs for 7 days. Cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends and you are not charged; otherwise the subscription begins automatically at the price above.
• Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. The subscription renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
• Manage or cancel anytime in your device Settings → Apple Account → Subscriptions. Deleting the app does not cancel the subscription.
• Gems may also be purchased individually — 500 for $1.99, 1,200 for $3.99, 3,000 for $7.99 — and are earned through play. Virtual items have no cash value and are not redeemable or refundable except as required by law or by Apple's refund policies.
